A Roll of the Dice: A Memoir of a Hungarian Survivor by Agnes M. Schwartz
Agnes M. Schwartz was born in 1933 in Budapest, Hungary. She immigrated to the United States in 1947. After raising three children and retiring from a law office career, she became involved with the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois, now known as the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. As a member of the Museum's Speakers Bureau, she tells her story of survival and the war's far-reaching effects on her life to audiences large and small. Her aim is to keep the Holocaust from becoming just another page in a history book.
